Lectures, shopping trips, health fairs, book clubs, chess tournaments, nature walks, concerts, plays, tennis tournaments, holiday parties -- there are loads of opportunities for fun and learning at Shenandoah. Full-time Activities Director Kisha Phillips has a keen eye for detail and an eagerness to provide programs that delight and inform.
Kisha is a Virginia native and she draws on her long-term knowledge of area resources -- from the Shenandoah Valley to Metropolitan Washington and beyond -- to provide vibrant community programming.
The Shenandoah activities calendar emphasizes something for everyone. Tennis and golf players, workout devotees, fishing and boating enthusiasts, bird watchers, stamp collectors, card players, gourmets, history buffs and music lovers will all find themselves caught up in the excitement of events and activities Kisha plans year-round.
Kisha works with the homeowners' creative and energetic Activities Committee to plan and execute not only day-to-day activities, but also major events that regularly attract at least 90% of the community's residents.
