Shenandoah's 35,000 square foot Clubhouse Village is packed with amenities to suit every disposition and desire. The Village, the central location for community gatherings, is anchored by two elegant side-by-side structures joined by a patio-style courtyard.

In the 25,000 square foot Social Club, residents can enjoy web surfing in the media center, a quiet read in the library, planned activities with like-minded hobbyists and club members, casual dining with friends, or a spontaneous gabfest around the majestic lobby fireplace. For special occasions, like weddings and anniversaries, there’s a ballroom with plenty of space for kicking up your heels. What is NOT here is the smell of chlorine. Our indoor lap pool and other sports-related facilities are not found anywhere near the dining room. They’re in our Fitness Club, just a few steps across the plaza.

The Fitness Club has become a favorite of residents. There they enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a state-of-the-art weight room, and a spacious workout room where residents eagerly practice stretching, dance aerobics, Pilates, yoga, and other forms of feel-good activity.

Not everything happens indoors! Residents of our community are justly proud of Lake Frederick, one of the greatest fishing holes around. The lake is encircled by miles of natural trails. Kayakers love it for its craggy coves (perfect for picnics). Birdwatchers dote on the avian menagerie nesting in the trees. Nature's special gifts are all part of the ambiance. In fact, you could say they ARE the ambiance.
