Homeowners Association (HOA)
The Shenandoah Homeowners Association, Inc.
is governed by a Board of Directors, with
advice and insight from an Executive Liaison
Committee of homeowners. Various advisory and
service committees also provide homeowner input
and recommendations for the enhancement of the
Shenandoah active lifestyle.
An Architectural Advisory Committee reviews
residents’ requests for modifications to their
homes’ exteriors, and the Grounds Committee
works closely with the landscape
contractor. A Welcome Committee greets
new owners and helps acquaint them with the
activities of the community and the local
resources. The Caring Neighbors Committee
provides support to members in times of
sickness and grief. The Activities
Committee works with the Activities Director
and inspires opportunities for social
engagement, fitness, hobbies, recreation and
community service.
The HOA provides common area landscape
maintenance as well as private lot maintenance
for the front and side yards of all the
community’s homes. Leaf and snow removal and
trash collection are also provided.
HOA members are active in volunteer
activity. Potential residents may be greeted by
Shenandoah Ambassadors, and at the Fitness
Center, resident volunteers help to keep the
programs lively. Some residents are volunteer
instructors for such classes as yoga, aerobics,
and swimming.
